Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have a registered business to apply for microcredit?
Not necessarily. Many microcredit programs in Paraguay are designed for small producers and entrepreneurs who operate informally. The documentation requirements in these cases focus on demonstrating the productive activity rather than formal business registration. Requirements vary by program and entity. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.
What is the difference between the fund use plan and the budget?
The fund use plan explains what the money will be used for and why — it is a narrative document. The budget is a numerical document that shows projected income and expenses for your activity. Both are typically required, and both must be consistent with each other. We prepare both documents as part of our service.
Can I apply to more than one entity at the same time?
This depends on the policies of each entity. Some programs have restrictions on concurrent applications. We recommend discussing this with each entity directly. What we can do is prepare files formatted for different entities if you decide to apply to more than one.
How long does the documentation preparation process take?
The time depends on how quickly we can gather the information from you and how many documents need to be organized. Once we have all the information and documents we need from you, preparation of the file typically takes a few working days. We will give you a clear timeline at the start of the process.
What happens if the entity asks for additional documents after I submit?
If the entity requests additional documentation after submission, contact us and we will help you identify and prepare what is needed. Our goal is to minimize these situations by ensuring the file is complete from the start, but if it happens we are available to assist.
